Can't See The Free Transform Handles Around Your Image? Here's How!
If you've used the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+T (Win) / Command+T (Mac) to bring up Photoshop's Free Transform box and handles around the image on a layer, and you're not seeing the handles anywhere, it's most likely because the image is larger than the current document's viewable area. The handles are there, you just can't see them.
To fix that, simply use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+0 (Win) / Command+0 (Mac) to change the view to Fit on Screen. This will cause Photoshop to zoom out far enough so that the full width and height of the image is now fitting on the screen, and you'll be able to see the Free Transform handles:
You still won't be able to see the entire image. Only the part withing the viewable document area wil be visible. But at least now you'll have access to those Free Transform handles and you can resize it as needed.
