Photoshop Tips & Tricks: Changing The Number Of Grid Lines In Curves

By default, Photoshop doesn't display much in the way of a grid inside the Curves dialog box. It displays only a 25% grid:

Photoshop's Curves dialog box with a 25% grid.
Photoshop's Curves dialog box with a 25% grid.

We can change that though and increase it to a 10% grid simply by holding down Alt (Win) / Option (Mac) and clicking anywhere inside the grid:

Curves now with a 10% grid.
The Curves dialog box now with a finer 10% grid.

If you want to switch back to the 25% grid, simply hold down Alt/Option once again and click anywhere inside the grid to reset it.
